The Islands in the Sun Center is offering a series of canning classes. Last week they made delicious bread and butter pickles. This week’s project (Tues, Aug 18th) will be piccalilli. Classes are held on Tuesday at 6 PM. All you need to do is call Irene at 999-5962 and ask to save you a seat. A suggested donation of $5 will cover our costs and maybe leave a bit for our building fund. All the ingredients and jars will be there for you and when you leave you will take home the recipe and a full jar of the pickles you made. Be sure and make that call, you will be glad you did!
