On Saturday, Aug. 22, the staff and families of Hunger Mountain Children's Center will gather at Waterbury Center State Park for a potluck picnic farewell in honor of longtime preschool teacher Jill (Corcoran) Macarilla!

The center is inviting her former students and their families to the lunchtime picnic (noon to 2 p.m.) to wish her the best. HMCC will provide hot dogs and trimmings, drinks and picnic supplies. Guests are asked to bring a salad or dessert to share.
