The Warren School PTO is hosting a school grounds work day on Sunday, August 23 from 9-4pm, rain or shine. Come help caretake for our school - dig in the dirt, play with friends, and reconnect after summer. Our hope is to beautify the landscape and cultivate some healing and hope for the new year. All community members welcome.
A sampling of the to-do list:
Weeding
Removal of raspberry bushes
Mulching
Bush removal
General clean up/trash pick up
Bring any of the following if you have them: work gloves, shovel, weeding tools
If anyone has heavy equipment that they would be willing to bring and use to pull out the raspberry bushes, please let us know.
Want to help but can’t attend on that day? Let us know and we’ll happily give you an assignment to work on your own time!
Want to help in another way? Bring a dish or drinks at lunch time to feed volunteers!
