Flute & Piano Concert @ Brownsville Community Church

On Saturday, August 29th, Brownsville Community Church will sponsor the second of a series of four free concerts open to the public. The second concert which starts at 7:00 p.m., will feature Alison Hale on flute and Christian Huebner on piano.

The August 29th concert will feature treasured works by Mozart, Telemann, Beethoven and more.

Since making her NYC debut at Carnegie Recital Hall in 1982 as winner of the Artists International competition, Ms. Hale has performed in Lincoln Center, Merkin Hall, CAMI Hall, and many of the major churches in New York City. Ms. Hale holds both MM and DMA degrees from Manhattan School of Music. She is currently on the faculties of U. Mass, Amherst and Mt. Holyoke College.

Christian Huebner grew up in West Windsor VT. He pursued a gift for music from an early age with his first position as organist and choir director at age 11afterwhich he attended Houghton College and completed a double masters in organ performance and choral conducting. Presently, in addition to his work as Music Director at Mid Vermont Christian School, Christian is the Pastor of Brownsville Community Church.
