Hi Neighbors ~
I will be one of 100 cyclists, participating in a 620 mile bike ride from San Francisco to San Diego over a period of 7 days. Our goal, is to raise $1 Million for the Challenged Athletes Foundation. CAF offers support and grants to families and individuals whom have been injured or diagnosed with an illness, that has limited their mobility (ie. Boston Marathon bombing victims). Through these grants, individuals are given prosthetic limbs, hand cycles, wheelchairs, hockey sleds, hand skis, tandem bikes, etc., so that they may return to healthy, active lifestyles. This Tuesday, 8/18, from opening until closing, Three Penny Taproom has offered to donate 10% of all beverage sales to my fundraising efforts for the Challenged Athletes Foundation. Would you please consider stopping by for a cold beverage, some community support, lots of smiles, laughter, and learning more about this amazing foundation?
