Have you seen all the brightly painted adirondack chairs around Downtown St. Albans lately? They are part of "A Chair Affair", a public project headed by Sharon Holcomb, owner of Bayberry Cottage and the Downtown Merchants Group.
Love a particular chair, just want a fun evening out, interested in supporting downtown and the fountain restoration project? Plan on joining us for the live auction on Saturday, Aug 22,2015 at 6PM under the tent in Taylor Park. Admission is $10.00 each (includes your bidding paddle and a Chair Affair glass to keep with a complimentary 14th Star brew or Due North wine.) An additional $8.00 will provide you with delicious ribs, salad and dessert from Local Fare!
The 30 unique chairs are on display throughout downtown. Each chair is sponsored by a St. Albans business, a member of the community or organization and has been decorated by local professional and amateur artists.
Funds from the auction will go towards The Ladies of the Fountain fundraising campaign and the St. albans Downtown Merchants Group.
