The Charleston Select Board has called a Special Town Meeting for September 1 at 6:30 pm to vote on a proposed solar project being offered to the town by Aegis Renewable Energy in Waitsfield. There will be a public meeting about this project on Thursday, August 20, 6:30 pm, at the Town Offices. Detailed information will be available from the Select Board, and Samantha Mashler from Aegis will be on hand to answer any questions that come up.
