Sheila McGrory-Klyza (of Bristol!) has published her first novel, "Miming in French" and will come to the Library at 7pm on Tuesday to talk about the book and the process of writing it. The book is about two middle-school aged girls who become friends even though one of the girls cannot speak French. They are both drawn to the mime who performs each day in their neighborhood and eventually helps them all overcome their differences. Sheila has published poems and articles in national journals and magazines and is the creator of the food blog: theVermontEpicure.com Speaking as the Librarian, I just loved the book and think all kids and parents should read it!
