Dear Neighbors,

Please save the date for our annual, citywide Celebrate Burlington event from 5:30 to 7:00 pm on September 8 (just after Labor Day) at the Burlington City Arts' Firehouse Gallery, second floor.

We will be presenting several community awards, including CEDO's Herb Bloomenthal Award for Community Activism and the Peter Clavelle Legacy Award. If you know someone deserving of either of these awards, please see the information below and nominate them by August 21.

HERB BLOOMENTHAL AWARD FOR COMMUNITY ACTIVISM
Do you know a community leader who has demonstrated tenacity and dedication in improving Burlington's neighborhoods? If so, please consider nominating them for the Herb Bloomenthal Award for Community Activism. Each year, the award is given to a resident of Burlington that is not a City employee who has tirelessly committed to serving their neighborhoods. To nominate someone, send a 300-word description of how the nominee meets or exceeds this commitment and provide your name and contact information, as well as that of the nominee. For more information and to conveniently submit a nomination online, please follow the link below:
