Inspired by Vermont Public Radio's Eye On the Sky Stargazing Party this week (http://digital.vpr.net/post/eye-sky-stargazing-party-1), and a new moon on Friday, we are hosting an impromptu star gazing party of our own. Join Education Director, Christine Ferris-Hubbard, at 8:00 p.m. this Friday to go watch the stars at the farm. We'll meet at the Visitor Center first before making our way to the farm.
Bring your blankets, binoculars, flashlights (we'll have red cellophane to dim your lights), and wear layers and good walking shoes. We are right in the middle of the Perseid Meteor Shower, but even on a normal night you are likely to see shooting stars and the Milky Way!
For more information, please call the Visitor Center. Registration is not necessary for this event, but if you do think you'll attend, it is helpful for us to know how many people to expect.
