Of course you can! The Islands in the Sun Center is offering a series of canning classes. Last we they made delicious zucchini relish. This week’s project (Tues, Aug 11th) will be bread and butter pickles. Classes are held on Tuesday at 6 PM. All you need to do is call Irene at 999-5962 and ask to save you a seat. A suggested donation of $5 will cover our costs and maybe leave a bit for our building fund. And if you bring you own pint jar that would also help. All the ingredients will be there for you and when you leave you will take home the recipe and a full jar of the pickles you made. Be sure and make that call, you will be glad you did!
