WARREN CHURCH BBQ TO RAISE $$ FOR CAPSTONE COMMUNITY ACTION: The annual Warren United Church Barbecue will be held on Saturday, August 15 from 5-7 on the church lawn. The meal will feature Jim Groom’s famous pulled pork and Some delicious barbecue chicken. Salads, home-style baked beans, breads and desserts will accompany the fare. All proceeds will benefit Capstone Community Action. This organization helps individuals and families in our Valley and throughout Washington County with emergency services, fuel assistance, housing, transportation, economic and workforce development. It also runs Head Start programs in this area. Price for adults, $15 and for children $5.
