The Warren United Church hosts it's annual (out-of-this-world!) Barbecue will be held on Saturday, August 15 from 5-7 on the church lawn. We should not sell out this year as we're preparing MORE food than in years past due to popularity of this event! The meal will feature Jim Groom’s famous pulled pork and Bill Robinson’s delicious barbecue chicken. Salads, home-style baked beans, breads and desserts will accompany the fare. All proceeds will benefit Capstone Community Action. This organization helps individuals and families in our Valley and throughout Washington County with emergency services, fuel assistance, housing, transportation, economic and workforce development. It also runs Head Start programs in this area. Price for adults, $15 and for children $5.
