Michael Chorney & Hollar General will take over the Tuesday Night Live Stage on August 11th
from 6 to 8:30 PM on the Legion Field in Johnson. Known for their original music and distinctive
vocals, they will offer a new kind of Americana with folk, blues, rag, jazz & chamber music.
Tuesday Night Live is free entertainment and a chance to socialize on a summer evening at this
family friendly event. Local vendors and volunteer groups on site. Just bring a blanket or chair.
Add an umbrella if the weather is iffy. The show goes on rain or shine. Only lightning and thunder stop the music.
Stop by the Historical Society tent early for the best selection of homemade pie...just like your grandmother used to make. Berry pies, cream pies, maple pies, and if you prefer cake, no one makes a better German chocolate cake than Alice Whiting. Sold by the slice so you can have more than one tasty treat.
Parking is in the Elementary School parking lot and at the JSC McClelland Building lot on College Hill as well as along School Street (just do not block a driveway please.) Info at 635-7826.
