This Saturday August 8th, from 4-6pm the Miller's Thumb Gallery will be celebrating a new show titled KINGDOM LIFE, a celebration of rural life here in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. The exhibit will feature new work by 13 artists including Louise Arnold, Ben Barnes, Kay Brown, Vanessa Compton, Karen Gowen, Deborah Holmes, Anna Belle Loeb, Sandra Macleod, Hugo Mesa, Elizabeth Nelson, Carolyn Oberst, Phil Pike, and gorgeous felted art from special guests Heartbeet Lifesharing. There will be live music courtesy of fiddler Jeanne Segretto Miller (of Granite Junction fame) and delicious local food (caprese anyone?). The Greensboro Historical Society will be holding their annual Ice Cream Social on the same day from 2-4pm so you could make an afternoon of it, what better than ice cream and art?
