Songs of Yesteryear With Ken Michelli (euphonium), Mary (keyboard), and Chris Maginniss (clarinet) Trio Nostalgia Trio Nostalgia features Chris Maginniss on clarinet, Ken Michelli on euphonium, and Mary Michelli on piano. They play the songs of yesterday, with selections from folk music, popular songs, and Americana.

Music can be a powerful memory cue for many people. Songs can evoke nostalgia for general times of life or for specific events. Trio Nostalgia seeks to take the audience back with a mixture of familiar music from times gone by.

Trio Nostalgia is the newest of several groups sponsored by the Newport Area Community Orchestra. Other groups include the Northeast Kingdom Chamber Players, Newport Area Community Orchestra Piano Trio, and the First Universalist Parish Ensemble.
