This Friday Hardwick Celebrates the Past - First Friday Festival

Past event

This Friday starting at 6:00 pm Hardwick will be celebrating our seniors, with activities such as live entertainment by performers like “Senior Moment” and the film "Duck Soup" by the Marx Brothers at the Hardwick Town house.

The Historical Society will be there with details on taking a walk through your family history to discover treasures of the past, and there is some area businesses offering discounts for anyone who feels young enough to call themselves a senior! Stop in to the Whistle Emporium for great gift ideas for all ages.

If you have a classic or antique car come on out and cruise the strip & show it off to bring back the nostalgic era of the past. Do you remember when Hardwick streets were lined with the automobiles of the 40, 50s, 60s …?

Bring the grandkids or kids along & let them sample some fresh baked goodies like grandma used to make at the American Legion Auxiliary bake sale. Then let them burn it off with the Junior Auxiliary at the Bouncy House. This attraction brought to you by GMR Tent Rentals, Hardwick VT & paid for by Suncommon.

Be sure to check out the motorcycles & enter the flag raffle hosted by the Gateway Riders. Three flags will be raffled including an American, POW/MIA & the Green Mountain Boys Regiment Flag that were certified as flown over the Vermont Statehouse.

Be sure to join us for all of the activities including great food from area restaurants and vendors, unique gifts, and live music!! The price to attend is FREE and open to the public! Come see what Hardwick has to offer for safe family fun on a Friday night.
