No matter where you are..................... CELEBRATE FAMILY & FRIENDS every August 9th. It's simple but not easy...

I'm longtime Charlotte resident that has been hosting this event since 2010. You can think of it like Mother's Day / Father's Day only it's Genealogy Day. Save the date (8-9-15) and feel free to give yourself permission NOT to attend, rather, do something special that day like visit a cemetery, dig out family albums, call or visit relatives you've just been meaning to reach out to or just have a good cry.

As a member of the Vermont Genealogy Library I can provide basic guidance for the hobby. This open house traveling exhibit (my plan is to hit all the counties in Vermont) is being held at the Jay Town Hall (community room) this Sunday from noon to 8 pm and is a family friendly event. Your help in spreading the word is most appreciated. Lets help folks that are grieving too.
