James Shea, winner of the Fence Modern Poet Series, will read from The Lost Novel, a new poetry collection that explores the natural world as a paradoxical site of transience and stability. In the words the poet Robyn Schiff, "These poems are full of subtle longing even as they elegize the unnamable: “What are your names,” asks Shea, “I want to report you.” Join us Wednesday, August 5th from 7pm-8pm in the Hayes room at the Kellogg Hubbard Library.
