Neighbors that live near and next to Starr Farm Community Gardens: we are having a lot of veggies missing from our community gardens. We have no idea who is taking our vegetables:( But it would be a Big Help if you see anyone in our gardens that look like they are suspicious looking. Our gardeners work extremely hard all season to get enough veggies to feed and freeze for our families. Some of us are on a fixed income and this is a large part of our winter veggies. I myself am on Social Security and I work all summer long to be able to fill my freezer for the winter. Community garden does NOT mean FREE veggies for the whole community. If I find out it is one of our gardeners they will have their garden and all produce taken away and will not be allowed to come back next year. Jean Parker site coordinator Starr Farm gardens .
