Northfield Art Walk

We really enjoyed sharing about the upcoming Northfield Art Walk this past Tuesday at the Farmers' Market! I am looking forward to August 18th!

The Northfield Teen Center’s Walk a Mile Project, funded by the Vermont Children’s Trust Foundation, presents The Northfield Art Walk. The Northfield Art Walk is to take place Tuesday, August 18th from 3-6 p.m. and will be a showing of youth and community art in vibrant downtown spaces. The goal of the event is twofold: we hope to create a buzz around town that draws new faces into downtown Northfield, both to visit the farmers’ market (Tuesdays 3-6 pm) and to explore other businesses and public spaces; we also want to support youth voice by coordinating art exhibits featuring youth work as well as community-wide artwork. We believe that communities are stronger when everyone in them is and feels represented.

If you are interested in being listed on the Art Walk Map, volunteering, or showing your own art, contact us at jsecor@wcysb.org, (802)229-9151 or (802)485-5494.

The Northfield Teen Center is a program of the Washington County Youth Service Bureau/Boys & Girls Club. Our school-year open hours are 2-6 pm Monday-Thursday and 3-10 pm Friday. During school vacations, we are open 1-5 Monday-Friday.
