As part of the 7th Annual Kingdom Farm & Food Days, High Mowing will be hosting our annual Field Day on Sunday, August 16th, 2015 at our Trials Field in Wolcott, VT. KFF is an annual weekend event exploring the vibrant community of farms and businesses in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. If you’re interested in local food and farming, KFF and the High Mowing Field Day are not to be missed!
High Mowing Field Day is a fun, educational and FREE event that includes:
- Workshops with successful farmers, gardeners & organizations including Eliot Coleman of Four Season Farm in Harborside, Maine and the Vermont Land Trust
- Taste tests and tours of interesting varieties growing in our Trials with High Mowing Founder, Tom Stearns
- All-day Kids’ Activity tent hosted by Hosmer Point Summer Camp of Craftsbury, VT
- Our annual Local Showcase Meal featuring delicious locally-produced foods prepared by New England Culinary Institute chefs and students
- Live music, a bonfire, and more!
