This is an invitation Bryce Dance Company's performance of Lonesome Bend as a participant. The performance will take place on August 15 at 7p at Wrightsville Beach Recreation Area in Middlesex. No experience is necessary to participate in this performance and all ages are welcome (children under 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent). In order to participate individuals must commit to two rehearsals on site (Sunday August 2nd, 11-1p and Sunday August 9, 11-1p in addition to a run through at 4p on the day of the show. If the performance is rained out it will be rescheduled for August 16th at 7pm.

Bryce Dance Company's Lonesome Bend is a collaborative dance performance piece that explores the themes of home, homelessness, displacement and the history of Wrightsville. Wrightsville Reservoir was once a town called Lonesome Bend. The community is invited to participate directly in the performance of this work and in the development process.The development of this performance piece was supported in part by a Creation Grant from the VT Arts Council and the NEA.
