The 3rd annual CROP Hunger Walk will be held on Sunday, September 27th beginning at 12:30 PM at Christ Episcopal Church in Montpelier. This walk to alleviate hunger around the world, will be held in memory of Ruth Beard, a longtime walker and supporter of CROP. Many churches of Central Vermont have joined together to support the walk. Their goal is $10,000. One quarter of the monies raised stays in our local community to fight hunger.
It is not too early to form a team and raise funds for this great organization. Walkers who raise $100 will receive a T-shirt. Go to hunger.cwsglobal.org and click on Vermont walks and Central Vermont CROP walk to form a team, join a team, or donate.
