Barre City Pool... The Barre City Buildings and Community Services Department is pleased to welcome the Clif Storyteller to the pool area on Tuesday August 4, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Youngsters up to age 14 will absolutely enjoy listening and watching a book "come alive" as displayed by a professional Storyteller! This event is free and open to the public, thanks to gracious folks who have donated to (Clif) the Children's Literacy Foundation. At the conclusion every child will receive two, free books that they can take home and call their own. The pool opens at noon, a free lunch is available at that time along with a wonderful literacy opportunity for youngsters, all at no charge. So come on out, make a play date for Charlie's Playground 2012 or just a fun day in Barre City's Rotary Park!
