CONSERVATION OPTIONS for LANDOWNERS
Wednesday August 5th at 7pm, Montgomery Library
Join FRANKLIN COUNTY FORESTER Nancy Patch and Carl Powden of the VERMONT LAND TRUST for a discussion of Vermont’s Current Use Program and the benefits of Conservation Easements to help landowners keep land in forestry and agricultural production. The evening will cover how the Current Use Program works, how conservation easements work, and how landowners can benefit from either option as stewards of the land. You bring the questions and we’ll bring the dessert! Sponsored by the Montgomery Conservation Commission and Cold Hollow to Canada Free and open to the public. Donations towards future events accepted.
