A unique celebration of flowers, blueberries, and artistic and literary talent will be hosted by the Friend of the Library on Sunday, August 9th, 7:00-9:00. The Historical Society will be beautifully decorated with interesting lighting. Creative flower arrangements will add to the ambiance thanks to Winsome Moran and Amanda Carter and their special talents. Blueberry desserts will be served throughout the evening.

Our own Emmett Francois will speak on “A Retrospective in Photography.” He has been a professional photographer for over 50 years and has taught fine art and communications photography at several institutions.

Megan Mayhew Bergman, Vermont author, will read from her recent book, Almost Famous Women, and will discuss her writing life.

You are in for a treat at this lively and full evening! You don’t want to miss it! Cost is only $12, and it includes dessert and beverage. For more information, contact Maureen McCormack at 802-235-1245.
