Have you been looking for an entry point into the endlessly intriguing world of mushroom cultivation and foraging? Learn how to cultivate log-grown shiitake mushrooms in this hands-on workshop, and take home an inoculated log to get you started. Then, join us for a colorful presentation covering foraging safety, strategy, and technique. After we become familiar with some of the region's most distinctive and delicious species, we will try out luck on a guided mushroom foray. $65 per person, includes a shiitake log and handouts.
