Rock Voices, Brattleboro Concert July 31

Past event
Jul 31, 2015

Director Tony Lechner invites you to join the Rock Voices, the area's only community rock choir, for a summer fun evening of Rock and Pop Classics like you've never heard them before. The concert will take place at Brattleboro’s charming Centre Congregational Church, located at 193 Main Street, on Friday, July 31, at 7 PM. Doors open at 6 PM.

This Valley Rock Choir “Endless Summer” Concert is a tribute to rock bands from the ’60s and ’70s who recorded these hits in California. The “old favorites” include tunes by the Beach Boys, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Steely Dan, the Eagles, Janis Joplin, Jackson Browne, Jefferson Airplane, The Byrds, Grateful Dead, and more!

Rock Voices is backed up by a professional four-piece band whose talented musicians all have local roots: Ross Bellenoit (guitar), Joe Whalen (bass), Carrie Ferguson (keyboards), and Dave Tallarida (drums). Add to that the harmonies of Lechner’s arrangements sung by a 100+ voice choir and you are in for a real treat.

Seating is limited, so please order your tickets right away from choir members, or online from Brown Paper Tickets. Tickets will also be available at the door. Admission prices are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, $8 for students. Children under 12 are admitted free of charge.

Rock Voices represents the best of southern Vermont and the greater Pioneer Valley: a sense of community, a love of music, and a desire to share their joy and talents with others. But be warned—once you listen to this lively choir in person, you might find yourself signing up to join them next time around!
