There are still a few spaces left for this Wednesday's Crafty Afternoon at the Waterbury Public Library for kids aged 7 through 11. This week, they will be making a squishy circuit monster or robot.
What's THAT, you ask?
The kids will design original creatures using squishy dough and sculpting tools (think Play Dough) that will LIGHT UP using LED lights and a battery pack.
This educational program, cleverly disguised as a fun craft, will teach kids the basics of circuitry by making a series circuit and/or a parallel circuit with the dough acting as a resistor.
