You have been hearing about it for over a year - how 21 students and 9 chaperones from U-32 High School are taking an original play to The Fringe Festival in Scotland in August. You have helped with fundraisers, attended Coffee Shop and the Adult Prom, donated money and been incredibly supportive and encouraging. Thank you for everything! Now the time has come to see our show. For one night only, "Baggage" performs at U-32 before heading across the ocean. Don't miss your chance to see this very special play 1 1/2 years in the making. "Baggage" is an original play by Burlington playwright Mary Beth McNulty, workshopped and written with students, that explores the foster care system in Vermont. Directed by Erin Galligan-Baldwin and performed by U-32 students (and a few chaperones too).
7PM, Friday July 24. Admission by donation. All proceeds benefit our trip to The Fringe. See the links below to read a story by the Vermont Arts Council and a feature piece in the Times Argus to learn more.
