Children’s book author Linda Urban will visit Morristown Centennial Library on Tuesday, September 17 from 3:00-4:00 to give a special presentation to children in grades 4-8. Linda will speak about finding and pursuing your dreams and the writing process. This is an amazing opportunity for young people who are fans of the author’s books and who love reading and writing.
Linda has written a picture book and middle grade novels which have received numerous favorable reviews. Her picture book Mouse is Mad received a starred review from Kirkus. A Crooked Kind of Perfect, her first novel, was selected for many best book lists and was nominated for twenty state awards, including Vermont’s Dorothy Canfield Fisher Award. Hound Dog True was named a Kirkus Best Book of 2011 and her most recent book, The Center of Everything, was on the 2013 Kids’ Indie Next List.
