For those who might be interested, the Huntington Community Garden will be hosting a Scything Workshop on Saturday, July 18th from 9am-12pm.

This will be a hands on workshop and will cover how to effectively mow with scythes, as well as their sharpening and care. Bring your own scythe if you have one, though it is not necessary for attendance - there will be others available to try.

The Huntington Community Garden is located on the Huntington Main Road, in the field just to the north side of the lower village (the village with Beaudry's and the library). There is a wooden sign for the garden next to the road, and parking is located between the gardens and the red barn with white trim.
