A meeting has been scheduled for the purpose of brainstorming about the future of 51 S. Main St., the former municipal office. It will be held a the the Waterbury Library, 30 Foundry St. at 6:30 PM on Wed, July 22.

All interested village residents are invited to attend.

Now that voters have rejected Dan Johnson's proposal for a 30-unit apt. building, it is time for us to decide what we do want to see there.

The trustees have declined to create a committee to do this, because Dan Johnson's purchase agreement is in effect until Dec. 2, but we, the people, can still start this process on our own.

The goal is to come up with a proposal that has widespread support, and is economically feasible, to guide our trustees and potential developers.

Please come, to share your ideas, and hear what your neighbors think.
