The Vermont Coverts Organization is looking for landowners and others that are interested in forest management and wildlife stewardship. Planning or Conservation Commission members may also benefit from a 3-day training to educate individuals on enhancing Vermont's woodlands for wildlife. The program has been delivering their message for 30 years with great success. Below is a pitch for the 2015 Coverts Cooperator Training.
Do you love your woodland? Enjoy seeing birds and other wildlife and want to learn how a healthy forest can enhance wildlife habitat, provide recreational and timber benefits? Are you interested in reaching out to others in your community? Then join the Coverts 3-day Woodland Owner Training. It will allow you to connect with resource professionals and other landowners while learning how you can improve your woodland. The training will take place September 11-13 at the Farm and Wilderness Camp, Plymouth, VT. The experience is free (a $100 deposit is required to hold your spot but available upon request at the completion of the training). Space is limited so register now!
