The White House Conference only happens every 10 years. This year, for the first time, the Conference is reaching out to the nation via the internet. It will cover topics of major interest to Seniors-Health and Health care resources, Housing, Transportation, Social Security and Medicare to name a few of the areas.

This is your opportunity to let the Government know what Seniors REALLY need NOW. The next conference will be in 2025.

Starts at 10:00 AM and ends at 4:30 with a break for lunch from 11:30-1:00 PM. President Obama will speak between 10:30 & 11:30. See the Conference website for more information: info@whaging.gov or www.whitehouseconferenceonaging.gov.
In Montpelier, the VT Alliance for Retired Americans, The Workers Center, and Cove are jointly streaming the Conference at the Parish Hall of the Episcopal Church (Christ Church) on State St. in Montpelier. We'll have Coffee but bring your own snacks. There's a lunch break from 11:30-1:00 PM. Conference is expected to end around 4: 30 PM.
We'll have group discussion-Discussion report will go to the Conference for inclusion in their proceedings.
