Western Slopes Business Association and the Town of Richmond will be hosting the tenth annual Richmond Holiday Market on Saturday, December 7th, 2013 from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm. This annual event has grown over the years and is offered in three locations, including the Richmond Free Library; the Richmond Congregational Church, and the Richmond Town Hall. Committee is working on plans for a fourth location to host a Holiday Farmer's Market (indoors) that morning as well.

The booth space is offered to vendors to display and the sell their crafts and gifts. Last year we had over 55 vendors. Also, Santa arrives by horse and wagon at 10 am and visits with families in the library until noon. During that time wagon rides are offered, plus, all day there is great homemade food served at the Congregational Church, live music by local musicians in the Town Hall, and Western Slopes Business Association Silent Auction to benefit the Association’s Scholarship Fund in the Town Hall. There’s something for everyone!!

We are very pleased to announce that Nick De Tarnowsky is the new chair of the Richmond Holiday Market Committee. Nick owns Blue Ski Weddings and Events and is on the WSBA board. Nick is already taking applications from vendors and working with the committee on plans for the December 7th event. Also, June Banks will be helping with vendor communication.

Also we are pleased to announce that Cindy Feloney is the new chair of the WSBA Silent Auction to benefit their MMU Scholarship Fund. Cindy has some great new ideas for the auction, including moving the offerings throughout the Town Hall.
