Discovery Strings is the Vermont Youth Orchestra Association's new camp for young string players entering grades 1 - 5 who have 1 year of experience. Discovery Strings offers young string players a chamber orchestra experience in a camp setting and is perfect for those students who have never attended music camp before. This half-day camp includes ensemble rehearsals, group classes, and fun camp activities. The week culminates with a lunchtime concert for families and friends at the beautiful Elley-Long Music Center. Tuition is $175 and financial aid is available.
