The 100 year Barton Public Library is having its centennial auction on Tuesday, July 14 - 5pm, previews with the auction to begin at 6pm. It will be held on the lawn of Barton's Memory Lane across from the school. Our auctioneer is Reg Lussier. We're quite close to meeting our goal of 100 items 100 years or older. That's a lot of antiques! And there will be many other vintage articles plus some contemporary things and gift certificates from local businesses. See the ad in this week's Chronicle for a detailed partial list. AND, if I were the parent of a young child, I'd come just to bid on a 3 lesson package of horseback riding lessons from a wonderful gentle teacher in West Glover. Food will be available. Bring your own chair, please.
