We need help screen-printing Ramble merchandise and flags on July 19th (at 12-22 North St, 1pm) distributing maps, placing flags at events, and selling merchandise on the day of. We especially need help with “The Round-Up,” a culminating block party event. From 6-10 pm we need help manning the street closure barricade (there are reflective vests and walkie-talkies involved with this one-YOWZA!) there’s set up and clean up, and if you have a bartender’s license through VT DCL, please consider working the door of the beer garden.
All volunteers get a free hand-printed garment of their choice to add to their, probably already striking wardrobe. Speaking of wardrobe, we’re looking for clothing donations for the above-mentioned printing on.

Sam Simon, artist and resident of the O.N.E, is working with Frog Hallow Gallery to produce a photography exhibit highlighting the diversity and lives of O. N. E. residents. From 3 to 7 pm, at Roosevelt Park, get your portrait taken and have a conversation with Daphne Zencey. She wants to hear “your story” and experience in the O.N.E. Photographs and excerpts from these conversations will be displayed in an exhibition for the month of September at Frog Hallow Gallery, 85 Church St.
Iris Downey, current O.N.E. resident will headline the music lineup at the Round-Up, happening from 6 – 10 pm, at 12 – 22 North St!
Three years ago The Ramble urged you to help Iris Downey through a kidney transplant. Iris, born and raised in O.N.E, was deeply influenced by the poets, artists and musicians our hood has to offer. When she was 22 doctors found that Lupus had been aggressively hurting her kidneys and she required a transplant. IT finally HAPPENED!!!! Visit these links to realize just how lucky we are that she is able to grace our stage, both health wise and musically!!!
