PLAY BOCCE at VFFC
Thursday evenings
6 pm to 8 pm
Vermont Farmers Food Center
253 West Street,Rutland City
No Cost

All are invited to come to learn to play bocce night at Vermont Farmers Food Center’s (VFFC) bocce court at 253 West Street in front of the VFFC’s community gardens and Winter Farmers Market. VFFC will host the event, bringing neighbors together to watch, learn, and /or add their expertise on the game and how bocce is played.

People can also just come to enjoy the summer evening outside with the neighbors. Bring your chairs, bocce balls, and picnic supper to VFFC for a night of fun. The bocce court was constructed by VFFC in collaboration with the North West Neighborhood Association with matched grant funding provided by NeighborWorks of Western Vermont. All neighborhoods in the City are welcome! Neighborhood leagues will be forming soon. Come be part of the action and please help get the word out on this event. In case of rain, event will be held inside the Farmers Hall, site of the Winter Farmers Market. Volunteers are being recruited to help teach the game on site evenings at the site.
