There will be a meeting in the North Hero School at 7 PM on Tuesday, JULY 7, 2015. (Not August 7 as stated in a recent Front Porch Forum.)
The discussion will be on School operations under the “Unification Act 48.”

The Vermont School Boards Association will go over school governance and address matters such as mergers of supervisory unions and districts. The impact on Educational Quality is also on the agenda.

School boards of the five Grand Isle County towns are expected to attend and, if the legislature’s intent is achieved, property taxes may increase at a slower rate for the towns that participate. Sounds like an opportunity to help all the stakeholders. Please consider attending.
