Past event
Jul 14, 2015, 7 to 8 PM

All Jeffersonville Village, and Cambridge residents are invited to attend a Public Meeting to be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cambridge Elementary School gymnasium 186 School Rd, Jeffersonville.

Dufresne Group will be introducing the Jeffersonville Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvement Scoping Study and Master Plan, which is expected to be completed by February 2016. This planning effort is funded through the Vermont Agency of Transportation and will assist local officials in evaluating potential capital improvements to create safe and efficient bicycle and pedestrian connections within the community. The first step in the public process is this meeting to hear local input, concerns, and considerations. Alternatives will be developed, which may include one or more routes to connect the Cambridge Greenway Trail, Cambridge Elementary School, Post Office, businesses and other important locations in the Village. The study also will consider improvement options for Route 15 and Village streets for bicycle and pedestrian safety. Written comments, concerns or suggestions may be submitted at any time to rob@lcpcvt.org or jayallen201@gmail.com. This meeting is required under the project’s grant terms. Comments are also welcome at the meeting. Additional information is available by calling Rob Moore at 888-4548, or the Village Office at 644-5534.
