The Village of Hyde Park Planning Commission is adopting a unified bylaw and has scheduled a public hearing - 6 to 7 PM, July 8, at the Lanpher Memorial Library, rear door and upstairs.

Purposes:
1. to bring the 2000 Village Zoning Bylaws up-to-date with changing State and Federal requirements,
2. to reflect the 2012 Town and Village of Hyde Park Comprehensive Plan,
3. to utilize a Form-Based Code, which using physical form (rather than separation of uses) as the organizing principle, and
4. make it easier for landowners and business owners to develop, change or enhance their Village properties.
