Peacham Library's Summer Series on Purposeful Travel continues on Thursday, July 9 at 7pm with Julie Lang's presentation on "Going Solo." With the travel companions of fantasy, the Lonely Planet, and local guides, Julie often chooses to ‘go it alone.’ On a summer night in Peacham, we’ll travel together, spending a little time in places like Mongolia, Bhutan, Cambodia and Peru.
Looking ahead, the rest of the series includes:
July 13 (after the Library’s Annual Meeting) – “Thoughts on Travel” with Robert VanVranken
July 23 – “Teaching Inspired by Traveling” with Bruce Maclean
August 6 – “On the Road with Road Scholar” with Morris McCain and Charlie Byron
August 20 – “A Journey of Discovery” with Beatrice DeRocco Ring
