It is time to register for Animal Crackers, a Heifer Vacation Bible School program! It’s FREE and loads of Fun! Sign Up Soon. Plan to have your children, grandchildren, and friends and neighbors children join us for a fun filled week to be held at the United Church of Northfield from 9 a.m. – noon the week of July 13th to July 17th. Your child will experience God’s love, fellowship and friendship with other children, ages entering Kindergarten through 5th grade. A limited preschool is also available for 4 and 5 year olds (potty trained). Heifer has a curriculum filled with information, fun projects, snacks to make, games from different countries, and stories to tell (each linked to a Bible verse). Your child will participate in a large group where singing and bible stories will be shared and break into smaller groups to enjoy art, nature, and game activities. Each day a theme-based snack will be shared together and during this snack time a mission moment about a heifer family will be told. Here are the animals and countries we will focus on each day for the week: Day 1: Chickens. China; Day 2: Llama. Bolivia; Day 3: Rabbits. Eastern European country of Georgia; Day 4: Water Buffalo.
