Old Schoolhouse Common (in case of rain we'll go inside the kitchen / gym)
“The shared meal elevates eating from a mechanical process of fueling the body to a ritual of family and community, from the mere animal biology to an act of culture.” ― Michael Pollan, In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto
21 years of free, community suppers on Wednesday nights in Marshfield village is something to celebrate! We encourage you to bring a side dish or dessert to share for the special occasion, but -- as always -- you don't need to. We'll have pasta, rice and beans like always, and our faithful friend, Moe's BBQ, will be there serving up some tasty eats! Bring your kids, friends, a picnic blanket if you like. Frisbees, soccer balls, beach balls, instruments are all welcome too!
