I tried posting this yesterday, so I hope this doesn't end up as a duplicate! The Lincoln Transfer Station WILL be open on Saturday, July 4, from 8 a.m to 1 p.m. Both recycling and trash hauling will be available. Be sure to say thanks to the workers for being willing to serve you on the holiday!
You must have a current sticker on your vehicle in order to use the facility. Remember, dump stickers expired on June 15th, so stop by the town office to purchase a new one during our regular hours (Mon-Thurs 8-2 and Wed. 4-7). If needed, there are Transfer Station Permit applications outside the Town Office door 24hours/ 7days/week. Fill one out, enclose your payment, and drop it through the slot next to the office door. We will mail your sticker to you on the next business day. The cost is $15 for the first sticker and $4 for an additional or replacement sticker.
