Bird Walk on Middlesex Town Forest

Past event
Jul 11, 2015

Interested in learning to identify more of our local birds and spend a nice morning in the Middlesex Town Forest? Join Middlesex naturalist and Executive Director of the North Branch Nature Center Chip Darmstadt on a trip into the Middlesex Town Forest to seek out summer and year round resident birds. Chip will identify the songs of numerous birds and hopefully we'll be able to get a good view of some as well. You'll want to be prepared for several hours in the woods so bring water and a snack, bug juice in case there are mosquitoes about and rain gear if it seems like any rain could be in the offing. It will be helpful to have a sense of the number that may be attending and parking is limited so car pooling is encouraged. Please RSVP to Dave Shepard at 229-1744 or shep@pshift.com.
