Mindful Breath Tai Chi

On Wednesday, July 15, from 5-7 p.m. there will be a special offering for Ascension Lutheran Church members and our friends and neighbors in the community. You are invited to join in Qigong practice exercises, followed by demonstrations of Yang and Sun style Tai Chi. Qigong/Tai Chi is one of the oldest exercise methods in the world and is practiced around the world today by people of all ages for its health and relaxation benefits. Slow, gentle and relaxed movements are combined with focused, deep breathing. It is suitable for most anyone and can be practiced practically anywhere. Recent medical studies have shown tai chi improves almost all aspects of health. It has a marvelous social dimension, as well. And it’s fun! With practice it can become an enjoyable exercise for a lifetime. Participants should be at least 12 yrs. old. A suggested donation of $10 for participants.
